DPW Laborer

Worth Township is seeking applicants for our DPW department

Position will be for a DPW laborer

40 hours per week / 8:00 am to 4:00 pm / Starting wage $20.00 an hour.

Duties and Requirements for employment are but not limited to:

- Reports directly to DPW Manager.

- Work outside in all weather conditions and be able to walk distances.

- Must have a valid Drivers License.

- Able to haul and backup utility trailers.

- Must be reliable and punctual.

- Able to solve problems.

- Must be mechanically inclined.

- Communicate respectfully with area residents.

- Able to be on-call on alternating weekends.

- Desire to pursue licenses for water and wastewater systems.

- Applicant must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

- Must comply with drug and alcohol testing and background checks if required.

- Applicants should live within a reasonable distance of the Worth Township Hall.
